John Calvitti Company is a full service cooling tower contracting company. The company was founded by John Calvitti, Jr. in 1958 and incorporated in 1962. As early as 1959 John Calvitti Co. erected its first cooling tower (for the Marley Cooling Tower Company).

Since then our company has erected numorous towers for use in petrochemical, manufacturing, processing and HVAC applications. With changes in the industry in recent years, our primary focus has been in the repair, maintenance, and upgrade of existing towers.

John Calvitti, Jr. - Founder
John established his company back in the late 1950's and took his general
contracting business into the cooling tower field as a primary erector for
the Marley Cooling Tower Company. John - now retired - successfully
handed over the reins of the company to his three sons in 1992.

John lost his battle with cancer on February 10, 2004. Although he held the title of Treasurer of the company, his duties took him primarily into the areas of tower inspections, sales and client relations. His energy and knowledge of the tower industry will be greatly missed.

Richard B. Calvitti - President
Richard wears many hats which include : Safety Officer, Field Supervisor and Chief Estimator. He has "hands on" field experience with cooling towers that dates back to his beginnings with the company 28 years ago.

Edward D. Calvitti - Vice-President
Edward has taken over the tower inspection and sales duties that were left open with his older brother's death. Like Rick, he has extensive experience working on towers in the field for over 25 years

Bob DiCicco - Lead Foreman
Bob has worked on cooling towers for our company for 20 years. Over this period of time, he has become familiar with a wide variety of cooling tower makes and models - both in commercial and industrial applications.

Edward Miller - Lead Foreman
Ed has been with Calvitti Co. since 1997. However, his knowledge and experience with cooling towers goes back over 22 years, and includes both working on and supervising cooling tower projects across the country in the areas of refining, manufacturing, processing and cogeneration.

Paul Whitson - Off. Mgr.
Paul is celebrating 27 years with Calvitti Company this Spring. He has managed the day-to-day office operations since 1994

Nina Turzi - Secretary/Bookkeeper
Nina has served as corporate secretary and bookkeeper under both her brother, John Calvitti, Jr., and her nephews for 47 years!
